Merry Christmas everyone!!
As Christmas comes to an end I savor the last few traditions and the warmth that comes with seeing all of my family. I love our tree that's decked out in lights and ornaments and the star on top that represents the star 2,000 years ago that shone over Christ the Newborn King. Now wait, that's a nice thought but we don't really think about that as much as we should. Christ the newborn King, what does that mean? Turn to your Bible to Luke chapter 2. If you don't have a Bible go to biblegateway.com and type in Luke 2. Jesus had been prophesied about hundreds of years before He was born in a stable. The King of all kings was born in a stable! God wanted to show that He is for all of man kind to the lowest of the low we can all be forgiven because of the forgiveness that is given through Jesus's sacrifice on the cross to pay for what we do wrong. Wow. That's a lot to take in. But I say all of this to get one point across. He is the Savior of the world and yet He came not in a Palace but at our level. That is the true meaning of Christmas, that He loved us so much that He came to earth to pay for our sins. Make sure you think about that this Christmas.
Merry Christmas!!
