Vintage Patterns

In my last post when I asked what you wanted to see more of you said you wanted vintage inspiration and craft ideas so this post is going to be both.
Vintage Patterns and prints are fun to use for all sorts of things.  It is fun to splash vintage pillows through out the house or an old vintage blanket spread over the arm of a chair. You could even make your own pillows with vintage inspired fabric.

I like cute bags with splashes of color or floral print. Another neat idea is to make a bow out of a old ribbon and hot glue it to a bobby pin to make a neat hair accessory. It would be a fun project to do with friends on a rainy day.

Vintage inspired scrapbook paper can be used many different ways but I like making personalized clip boards with it.

What you will need:

A clipboard of your choice
Enough Scrapbook paper to cover the clip board
Mod Podge (You can get it at most craft stores.)
A brush
Glue
Scissors
Ribbon (Optional)

The first thing you will do is cut the paper the same size as the clipboard and glue it down making sure the edges are secured. The next thing you will do is spread mod podge over the FRONT of the clipboard. The next thing you will do is set in down and let it dry until the mod podge is no longer wet.
After it is completly dry you can add tie a ribbon bow onto the metal clip.  Then enjoy! Note: If you want to layer smaller pieces of scrapbook paper it also is really cute. (see below)

Have fun with your patterns! God Bless!
